1- Within Scandanavian folklore, there exists a vengeful ghost known as a Myling. A man traveling at night comes across a haunting cry from within the forest. He enters it to find a spirit who demands to be carried to its proper burial site. The man agrees, but as he travels forth, the spirit's grip tightens... it grows in size...and the man's gait slows. Can he unburden himself of this terrifying weight before it brings him down for good?
2- A young Khmer woman turns to black magic that promised to give the caster wealth, power, and beauty unlike that of any other human. When the spell turns on its caster, she must learn to deal with the consequences of magic, and what it means to be an Ahp.
3- Sarah Webb brings to life a Scottish Orkney Island tale. When Willa Westness and her two siblings get caught in a dangerous high tide, they are at the mercy of the selkies. All seems lost-but there might be something hidden in Willa's past that can save her.
4- A grandmother fights to get back to the mortal world to fulfill a promise to her granddaughter, but Weles, the Slavic god of death, and his creatures are determined to bring her to her final resting place.
